Summer Loving... Almost

Hi friends! It's Tuesday and hot outside. 

I'm here on the East Coast where it is hot and humid but realize it is no better back home in Cali with the 90 degree weather. I don't know if it is the fashionable NY style or the heat but I have the urge to shop and I've found a love for maxis and tanks. It's the perfect combo of fashionably chic and comfortable cool to beat the heat and look the part. 

Summers not quiet here yet but the weather thinks otherwise so enjoy it and buy yourself the perfect outfit.

Stamp it Out

It's hot and not even noon so what's better than a shopping day to get out

of the heat? Stamp cards!!

We started our stamp cards a few weeks ago. 

With every $50 purchase you receive a stamp and after 10 stamps you'll get a 

$25 gift card courtesy of Lux. So come get your shop on and show this heat you can look hot no matter what the temp is.

Tutorial Tuesday

With the store changing there have been manny DIY projects being done by the girls here. In our hours of slowness we pull out the yarn, grab the scissors and get our artsy on. 

Our first project is the start of our new window display of dream catchers. 

What you need:


yarn



round medal hoop

feathers

doily

fishing line


scissors




What to do:

Using fishing wire tie doily to medal hoop.


Wrap medal hoop with yarn tying a knot every so often to prevent unravel.

Wrap yarn around feathers tying off ends to hold in place.



Add feather strings to medal hoop (we found 3 to look the best)



Add a loop of yarn and find a cute spot in your room to hang!

Welcome Back

Hello friends we are back in action here on the blog! 

After much consideration and a few changes we decided to reconnect to the blog world.

Our store has been going through a mini makeover and so the blog has as well. 

We're going to have a little more fun here at our little Lux corner posting pictures of the store, some DIY projects we've been working on, sharing stories over a cup of coffee and of course talking fashion.
