Coachella Withdrawals

Another year of Coachella is over and done and though we at Lux didn't have the joy of attending we are already going through withdrawals. Maybe it's because we can no longer live vicariously through our beloved Luxettes who attended or because the realization that another year has passed and we missed out yet again has finally set in.

But whatever the case may be we are sad we missed another year and to cope we are still enjoying our festival fashion and sunny days.

Enjoy your sunny Monday!

Must Haves

Today I'm talking wedding with you all...

We're officially in the double digits today and I can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday we got engaged, but then again when I think back to whats been done in the last few months and all the crazy that has taken place it seems like we should already be married.

Enough ramble.. today I am sharing with you some must haves for your registries. Grabbing the gun and walking down the store isles marking everything I wanted for my house was a dream I've always had. I loved picking things for my future home, but I must admit it is a bit overwhelming and I am glad that we have the internet now a days to help in the process.

My top store picks were Target, Anthropologie and Crate and Barrel. I love white and light grey with hints of color here and there so I kept it simple with my registry.

Heres a few things I was told or found to be extremely helpful:

-register for Cal King bedding if you don't know your bed size,
if you don't end up getting a Cal King it's easier to exchange anyways
-register for fun things like games, movies and outdoor activities, you'll be happy
you did later
-your fiance doesn't care too much he just likes using the gun
-register for gift cards, you'll be happy when you don't have to pay for coffee or dinner
for months after your wedding
-it takes much longer than you expect, decide on one store a day otherwise
you'll be too tired and overwhelmed
-print out a check list and take it with you
-have fun!

Hopefully that helped a bit!
Enjoy your Friday
